Fell off the wagon but back on!

Well, I had surgery, as I needed to get an implantable heart defibrillator. My stay at the hospital was only for a day but the choices in hospital food where not Keto and I wasn’t about to starve. I did made careful choices and avoided dessert and fruits, but still. I’m home now recovering and depleting my body of that glucose.

Don’t beat yourself up, that’s not cheating it’s survival. Life isn’t always optimal as far as our goals. If you’re back on track that’s doing your best. You’ll be fine. Hospitals accommodate gluten free, low fat, vegetarian, renal and diabetic diets. Hopefully they will become more keto friendly in the future. How about IV ketones instead of glucose! :cowboy_hat_face:
