I have started Keto diet 2 weeks back and I have reduced 3.5 kgs till date…But I feel vometing and acidic most after when I ate my lunch .

I am having 2 cup of tea with milk and without sugar everyday …This could be the reason ??

If you are lactose intolerant then it may be to blame? Do you eat much dairy in other forms?
Could you give us some examples of your keto meals?

What are you eating for lunch?

It may be because you don’t have enough stomach acid to digest your food. There is a valve between your esophagus and stomach that is supposed to be triggered closed by stomach acid (HCL). When your stomach does not make enough HCL to trigger that valve closed, then you get acid reflux (there is still some acid in your stomach, just not enough to trigger that valve). Taking an antacid is counterproductive. You still have acid reflux, you just don’t feel it because the antacid neutralizes the stomach acid, so you are essentially shutting down your digestion. Since you may not be making enough HCL, then you are not properly breaking down your food so it may cause the nausea from fats not being digested fully. You could try having a pickle after your meals or some apple cider vinegar to help increase the acidity of your stomach and trigger that valve closed.

I got severe nausea a couple of days back, its not pleasant. I took my potassium tablet and had a glass of “Electrolyte plus” and it disappeared. Not sure why it happened to me but that’s how it disappeared.
Keep going and good luck!

The nausea could also be caused by insufficient bile flow. Adding beet greens to your diet could help with that. Minerals are very important to you may want to increase your consumption of sea salt. Potassium should only be taken if prescribed by a doctor because its easy to take too much. A good keto food rich in potassium is avocado. Back to minerals though, if you are not digesting your food properly then you are not pulling all the nutrients and minerals out of your food so a good starting point is to work on improving your digestion first (and up your sea salt).

Are you eating enough salt in all of these? Lack of salt can cause all kinds of odd side effects, especially during an initial transition to keto.
