About to travel and I’m wondering to what extreme do I go in packing my kitchen gadgets?? Anything I MUST bring???
Favorite Keto traveling essentials (NOT clothing or bathroom itms)
I have a little egg steamer that will hard boil eggs in a jiffy in a hotel room.
I just stayed in an Airbnb for a couple of days and packed a cooler but the thing I found most convenient was chicken bullion granules in a jar and vienna sausages in a can. I can throw those in the bottom of my bag and didn’t get myself into a hungry but no appropriate food position while away from the kitchen. Just pop the top off, drain and eat. And string cheese if you’re okay with it in your purse for a few hours. I am.
I like the cheese idea. I made some snack to keep in my purse so I’m hoping that solves that problem.
Nice! I’m bringing my insta pot because the place we are staying has a full kitchen. Excited to not be tied down to restaurant foods and prices!
Cheese.
Keto bread.
Salami.
Cold chicken breast ,(first day)
Hard boiled eggs.
pork rinds
people’s choice carb free beef jerky
pepperoni
Thank you for all of the snack tips but I’m especially interested in what kitchen TOOLS to bring.
When I travel I always stay in a room with a kitchen. Usually they have everything you need, but the last time I stayed in a room I wished that I had my own spatula and tongs. Theirs was the .89 version.
And maybe your favorite knife if you are driving.
If the place you are staying has a microwave, bring a good sized coffee mug. Easy for eggs, mug bread, soup. If it’s a hotel, you’ll likely be stuck with plastic or paper cups. Measuring spoons for above. Think about what you want to make and bring what you need to accomplish that?
Him. Pink salt.
Most places, even if they have salt only have the nasty “table salt”
I always bring a small kitchen scale, measuring spoons, a large coffee mug and a good sharp knife. Sometimes I bring along a serving spoon.
