Fat Adapted; time span, how do you know?

Fat Adapted. Time span to see, how do you know?

Showing ketones now for 8 days, under 20 gram for 10 days.

Have not felt hungry for several days, and ketones are less in the morning, stronger at night.

What’s happening to you is that you’re experiencing a more normal leptin response. That’s why you feel sated. Fat adaptation is a misnomer, it’s really a matter of adapting out of a lipogenic hormonal secretion pattern by reducing insulin and leptin resistance. This usually takes several months, if not longer.

One way to tell is to eat a meal of carbs, and see what your response is. You should no longer have a massive insulin response that makes you sleepy.

If you really want to lose fat, don’t eat until you’re actually hungry.
