Fasting on acid reflux meds

Is it safe to fast whilst on ppi meds
I’m doing intermittent fasting and no worries
But am thinking of trying a longer fast

I should add that stopping the ppi meds isn’t an option until I revisit my specialist in June/July
I have severe scarring of the oesophagus and this needs to heal first
So nice going lchf five weeks ago I feel that reflux symptoms have gone
