I have been fasting for awhile. I take chicken bouillon in the morning for salt, drink some ketoaide (I account for everything to get the right amount of salt/potassium/magnesium) I drink plenty of water. I take vitamins. Vitamin c has some carbs (5g) and I take emergen-c (5g) carbs. My blood sugar can be as low as 78 or up to 95. My question is why does it vary so much? Is the 95 high for being on an extended fast? Thank you all!!!

When is your BG 95 and when 78? If higher in morning could be dawn phenomenon. If higher after bouillon likely due to insulin secretion from bouillon driving BG down.

I think that if the bouillon is causing a rise in insulin, the blood glucose would be lower after drinking it.
