Fast Food Burger Battle: Burger King, McDonald's, Wendy's

If you held a gun to my head, I could be forced to eat an Aussie Burger or an Ultimate Double Whopper. No added hormones!!?? That’s a new one. :hamburger:

The buns stay so I don’t burn my fingers on the patties!!

Well done!

5 Guys or 25 Burgers. As lettuce wraps.
I’ll skip rather than eat any of the big three mentioned, I fully expect there’s soy in them and I’d be in pain the rest of the day. Also McDs is so tasteless, just, why?

(TJ Borden) #24

Awe… not fair. We don’t have anything like the Aussie burger at our burger kings. We also don’t have spiders the size of dinner plates, so I guess we have to take the good with the bad

(Terence Dean) #25

Put in a serious complaint, they might add it for you, Hungry Jacks is a franchise of Burger King.

I’m waiting for the day when we can roll up and select our own ingredients with an app, and they have it waiting for you to pick up in the drive thru. That would be awesome!

The fast food industry is one area where a fat man, such as myself, can influence policy. They know their profit center’s demographic. :stuck_out_tongue_winking_eye:

I reckon you need to lobby Mac Donalds and Burger King to produce a Keto Burger. Shouldn’t be too difficult to make buns out of alternative flour ingredients, they make vegan look-a-like patties why can’t they make buns that are ketogenic?

An all meat selection for you carnivores, and us normal people get the Aussie Burger ingredients.

Eat a Keto Burger - lose weight with Burger King!! Has a nice ring to it!??

Actually it looks like they already have the app, you can select what you want except for Ketogenic buns

Ya know, we’ve had In-N-Out here for like 2 years and I’ve never gone in one, mainly because I don’t see bacon on the menu. Most Texans raised on Whataburger think they’re nasty. I’m reserving judgement until I try one.

Another question - what’s in their spread? Do you do without? Can you get mayo and/or mustard? I’m still stuck on the no bacon thing. :worried:

Because … :bacon::bacon::bacon:

(TJ Borden) #29

There is sugar in the spread, but since I get in-and-out so infrequently, I tend to go with the “big picture” mindeset when I order and keep it

#30

I get no spread and add mustard. A burger doesn’t need to have bacon on it every single time you have one. I suppose you could get your order to go and add bacon at home. :stuck_out_tongue:

(Candy Lind) #31

Or just take some “pocket bacon!”

You know I love you @Nebulous, but what kind of bullshit is that?:rofl::rofl:

#34

Sometimes it’s too much… especially if you’re getting a 4x4 :stuck_out_tongue:

For a quick drive through, three mcdoubles no ketchup and toss the bun because for some reason telling them no bun gets me a look saying “how will you eat it?”. I’ve never tried BK since going keto. Hardee’s/Carl’s has the lettuce wrapped on menu so it’s easy to order. Wendy’s baconator is my FF choice if I plan on needing a fork and knife.
