Hi guys, for the past couple of days including now I’ve been struggling with extreme tiredness, feel like led. Moving body and just generally struggling to even sit as I feel very heavy. My weight is the same but it feels like I’m a hundered pounds heavier. I drink excessive amount of diet coke or Coke zero so I’m thinking it’s that which is causing this, so I’ve just gone to get a big bottle of ice cold water. Hoping this will help. I had hoped to go to the gym tonight but right now I just want my bed and go to sleep. This isn’t normal. I’ve been on keto 6 months or so. Fat adapted based on no need to eat most of the time. Only carbs I have are from veg or the odd dark chocolate. I eat once a day most of the time. Yesterday I ate twice thinking perhaps I need some food. My weight has stalled for 2 months perhaps three. But not been to the gym in that time. Any suggestions to help me get out of this feeling of led and dragging myself. I weight 206lp and would like to get too 160 or so.
Extreme fatigue
How are your hydration and electrolytes? You mentioned drinking water, is it enough? I’ve noticed that when I get even a little dehydrated I can become sluggish and fatigued. Do you take a multivitamin? You could be deficient in a necessary vitamin after six months of keto.
So far the drinking of water is helping . Also had some ashwaganda drops and some food. Not 100% yet but miles better than I was an hour ago. Will just have to cut out the coke … Think my body is just telling me to stay away from it
I e had the same issue and to track it down I’ve been keeping an extremely detailed food/mood/energy level/symptom diary.
I haven’t nailed it down yet, but I seem to feel better with more vegetables and having drank more water.
1…You mentioned excessive
We all react differently to soda and or carbonation
Insulin, bloating, fatigue, and that lousy feeling
For me, w energy drinks
I get tired lol
Crave the taste here and there
2…You mentioned you go mostly w OMAD
depending on how your body is reacting
Could it be related to both of the above? I Don’t Know
Just throwing something out there
Maybe try to reduce the amount of soda and change up your eating windows?
And if there some science out there
Your body is treating the soda as a “snack”, maybe increasing insulin?
You did mention excessive amounts
Sorry
Hope you get better
