Hey everybody.

Yes… unless you edit your foods to get some of the amount that way.
Pickle juice, hot sauce, salty cheese, pork rinds etc. would all boost Na. You could focus on vegetables with K and Mg to reduce supplementation though it is unlikely you could eat enough to avoid supplements.
I get Na from foods/salting but supplement K (no salt) and Mg (pill).
Okay thank you.
Typically I get symptoms of potassium deficiency. Maybe I should try with a potassium supplement.
I just found out there is only 77mg of potassium in one scoop of my electrolyte mix… Then it makes sense that I don’t feel better after a couple of scoops…
Thomas DeLauer has a video about an ACV drink in which 2 tbsp of ACV, 1/4 to 1/2 tsp of cream of tartar, 1/2 tsp of salt (he uses pink Himalayan salt), and lime juice from one lime are added to 10 to 12 oz of water.
Cream of Tartar has a lot of potassium. According to DeLauer’s video, 1 tsp has 495 grams of potassium. It’s an affordable and efficient way to supplement potassium.
Here’s his video…
My electrolyte drink:
500ml water
Juice of 1/2 lemon (fresh squeezed)
15ml to 30ml ACV
1/2 tsp Lite Salt (Potassium/Sodium)
I also include 2x 150mg Magnesium Citrate capsules to my daily vitamin regiment.
According to Dr. Phinney, we optimally need 5 grams of sodium a day; sometimes more due to heat and exercise. That works out to be almost 2.5 teaspoons of salt. He has also said that if we don’t get enough sodium our bodies lose potassium. You need to make sure you are getting enough sodium/salt and that helps potassium levels.

Probably also worth bearing in mind that acids like cider vinegar and lemon juice are damaging to the teeth.
If I ever drank either of them (I don’t, for this very reason), I would swig down a big glass then follow with a glass of water to rinse my teeth. No way would I sip all day and have my teeth exposed to those dilute acids all day.
Some people take cider vinegar before bed. I really hope they brush their teeth after!
Agree
Not best to sip all day
Use a straw
When done , I do a warm water rinse
Then another
Wait awhile prior to brushing
I’m just finishing my ACV “ drink “as I’m typing this.
