Electrolyte Problem?

#1

I don’t know if I’m experiencing some kind of vitamin or mineral problem, but lately, I start to feeling a little drunk about 9pm. I don’t mind a buzz when I have room for the carbs, but I haven’t had alcohol in a month or more. I’ve been cutting protein down other than lifting days, and trying to stick to IF 20/4. Not losing much weight, but it’s working well for BG, as todays average of 5 tests was 102. I’m trying to choke down more salt, and more water. But I’ve cut way back on avocados so maybe magnesium?

Lightheadedness may be due to lower blood pressure so some electrolytes may help out nicely there.

What are your blood ketone levels? You may be experiencing deeper ketosis ketone high.

I haven’t been checking ketones in quite a while. Blood pressure has been in 110-68 range, but I haven’t been checking it in the evenings. I’ll take a look tonight. Thanks

Blood pressure is given as two numbers, the systolic pressure (when the heart is compressing) and the diastolic (when the heart is relaxed). For example, 130 over 90 would be rather high, whereas 112 over 70 would be perfectly normal. If your diastolic pressure is ranging from 68 to as high as 110, there is something wrong, and you should see your physician. A high systolic pressure is not nearly as concerning as a high diastolic pressure.

110/68. About normal. Has gone lower during extended fasting. Going to lift, I’ll check after rested.
