Two different blood tests about 5 weeks apart. My Dr wanted me on a statin and gave me a prescription. I did not take the statin, I added a bunch of supplements though. He also gave me a prescription of Vascepa, which as best I can tell is a prescription fish oil that I used to replace my daily fish oil pill from Costco Kirkland brand fish oil. I also increased my Red Yeast Rice Extract from one pill to 4, which is what the label suggests.
The big changes in my labs seen below is overall cholesterol went down, LDL went way down, my HDL went down unfortunately but it is usually low, LDL-P went down about 38%, small LDL-P went way down 57% and Remnant Cholesterol stayed the same at 14.
===============
The # of supplements I take is, a lot. Next experiment is to reduce one of the supplements to see what happens. I would like to reduce the amount of supplements I am taking. Here is a list of what I took, I could provide dosages if requested but I did not want to overwhelm anyone with more data.
