So past two weeks I was eating OMAD also fasting but did not loose any weight. So this week I was frustrated so ate more keto food. I finished a jar of peanut butter( I did not know PB tastes so good I ate first time in my life). So on Monday I weighed 144.9 p today is Thursday I weighed 142 pounds. I ate lot of fat past 3 days. Motivated again!!! Thanks all just wanted to share my experience. If u eating too less you need to increase food intake specially fat.
Eat more
Not to be downer, but keep in mind there is a normal body weight fluctuation of about 3 pounds for most people every day.
Also, Peanut Butter tends to only be keto in moderation. A whole jar is typically outside that range, but I don’t know what peanut butter you eat or how big the jar was, so I guess kudos if that worked out (notably, I eat peanut butter nearly every day, so I’m not knocking peanut butter usage in general).
That said, yea, eating enough, even some extra, can help with a lot of stuff in certain situations, particularly doing so for a long enough time for your body to do something about it (3 days I’ve heard as a good point for jolting things, but I doubt that’s particularly scientific, just some guesses based on anecdotes). But, other than that, there have been plenty that have reported eating more and either not gaining weight or loosing weight, since it’s not really about the amount or the calories, it’s about how your body deals with it, which it can do in a variety of ways (increasing or decreasing metabolism, for instance).
I have heard some advocate OMAD just for anything, while some other fasting experts actually advocate OMAD as more of a maintenance system as it can lock down your system or put it on ‘freeze’ once your body is able to adjust to it, which they suggest can actually be good in the long run once you are where you want to be for the long term. Changing it up a bit probably does change it up a bit, so there is that.
