Easter is coming

The eggs are already in the shops! And not the breakfast type

If there is one thing I’m going to struggle resisting is an Easter egg. Chocolate is by far what I miss the most on Keto.

So is there anything I can do? I’ve heard, via Joe Rogan, that ketone suplimets can put you back into Ketosis even after drinking something like a coke. Is this true? Or do I need to find an alternative to the delicious Cadbury’s Easter eggs when surrounded by the 50 that my kids are going to get

There’s plenty of good Keto chocolate recipes around.
Ex. I just watched Keto Connect make a

> Chocolate Peanutbutter lava cake.

Yum!
Treat yourself with something good.

This one is on my short list to make when I get the time…

I’m not great on the sciencey stuff, but my understanding is that the ketone supplements will cause your pee/blood test to reflect ketones in your system, but that’s misleading. The benefits of ketosis come through our bodies generating keytones, not from simply “having” keytones.

For instance, someone on a SAD diet could take keytone supplements and have tests register the keytones in their system, but they’re still burning carbs for energy and aren’t actually in ketosis.
