Dragon's Den

I am sure people watch this all over the world but watching one now in UK I have noticed one thing.

Every show they have someone with health bars, health drinks and all that. Organic, vitamin supplemented etc …

The money is massive out there and the demand is there isn’t it if you can get a product right etc …

but then look at the ingredients for something a LC person could be attracted to

but the biggest ingredient is basically sugar in the dates … fascinating

No doubt
Just one look at the 1st ingredient ( dates )
Wait??:thinking::thinking: natural sugar…lol

No need ( for me ) to label read further
Easy
That item goes back on the shelf

But you are right, have to read those labels

definitely Troy, in the Den she presented this as healthy, natural and organic and no doubt the base ingredients are but nowhere in the wild you would ever find this. My message to many now is real food and that is by nature Keto, the two are inexplicably linked !

Interestingly, Barenaked Rice/Noodles (konjac keto pasta) was also funded by Dragons Den. Hits and misses :stuck_out_tongue_winking_eye:

Are they any good ? Guess sold as gluten free alternative ?

They are GF, VLC, ‘high protein’ and are like all the konjac noodles. Smelly/fishy, slick and not a patch on rice/noodles unless you handle them right.
Rinse many times, dry fry so the sauce will adhere to them. Good to smother in something nice, pretty bad plain. Sainsbury’s have them.

Another VLC noodle available in the UK is Oomi, made of fish protein. I haven’t had them but my parents in the UK have and liked them, More widely available I believe.
