Dr. Kellyann

Well I had PBS on while I was making some repairs and on came a fundraising infomercial for Dr. Kellyann and her 10-day belly burning system. I expected some hokum but was too busy to turn it off. Her recommendations?

  • Intermittent fasting, specifically a 17:7 although she referred to 16:8
  • Bone broth
  • Collagen milkshakes
  • “Slim-gestion™ Foods” — like mainly protein, some green leafy vegetables, healthy oils and maybe a few berries

She has figured out a way to make a lot of money on it at least. She bills herself as " CREATOR OF THE BONE BROTH REVOLUTION" and peddles fat bombs and mini-fasts… Hey, she even slams highly processed “keto” foods in deference to the good stuff. I have nothing against people packaging free stuff and selling it.

Mango and carrots, but it looks fairly low carb overall, just not quite ketogenic. At least there isn’t any “healthy whole grain goodness and healthy legumes” in there…

Gawd I like that dress in the picture, I luv sewing and getting ideas for designs! I like making futuristic post apocalyptic type designs.
