Well I had PBS on while I was making some repairs and on came a fundraising infomercial for Dr. Kellyann and her 10-day belly burning system. I expected some hokum but was too busy to turn it off. Her recommendations?
- Intermittent fasting, specifically a 17:7 although she referred to 16:8
- Bone broth
- Collagen milkshakes
- “Slim-gestion™ Foods” — like mainly protein, some green leafy vegetables, healthy oils and maybe a few berries
She has figured out a way to make a lot of money on it at least. She bills herself as " CREATOR OF THE BONE BROTH REVOLUTION" and peddles fat bombs and mini-fasts… Hey, she even slams highly processed “keto” foods in deference to the good stuff. I have nothing against people packaging free stuff and selling it.
