Check the labels serving size. One is more than the other which makes the rest of the label different.

That’s great that you’re getting enough potassium. I really committed to the 7-10 cups veggies becuase of potassium specifically! And, in my experience, I can surprisingly put down that amount without much trouble! I eat 4oz. of spinach at each meal (2 meals/day), add half an avocado, and 1/4 cup of pecans… to the salad I add 2 tbl of a tasty dressing. You would be surprise how easy it goes down! Also, surprisingly, I am still hungry (no bloat). Then I eat some fatty protein and and I am done. I encourage everyone to eat their leafy greens!! :sunny:

I think some people think of ā€œcupsā€ as a measurement in weight but it’s really not, it is a volume measurement. So, for example, if you look up ā€œ1 cupā€ of spinach on nutritionix.com, that calculator equates 1 cup to 180 grams, which is waaay too high!! Now if you ate 7 cups by this weight measurement, that would be 1.26 kg (or 2.8 lbs!!) of spinach. That’s just not possible! That’s why Dr. Berg qualifies his statement by explaining that when he says ā€œ1 cupā€ by volume he means that would be about 1 oz. by weight. So, for greens, go by 7-10 OUNCES per day. You will find that this isn’t all that much!

Cheers!

When I make salad, it’s generally 180g of mixed field greens. (6-7oz) as the base. Add feta, olives, garlic, salami chunks, evoo, balsamic. :+1::+1:
Love it…and funny enough I find it gives me the same eating pleasure that my first love (pizza) used to.

V8 alone has the same amount of potassium as 1 banana among other nutrients.
