Dr. E

Does anyone know what happened to Dr. E., the original founder of Dietdoctor.com? He probably signed a Do Not Compete when he sold the platform, however, it would be great if he could have developed a similar website.

He sold the platform?

Well, I assumed he did. It’s nothing like it was originally. There used to be so much free content by Dr. Fung, Dr. E., and videos and/or content from other experts that were informational and motivating. Loved the “success stories.” All of that seems to be gone and it’s mainly a subscription based meal plan.

I know. I used to love going there, but it does seem to be dramatically changed. Also, Dr. E was able to lose some weight by eating higher protein, and he moved the site a lot that way. While I personally like higher protein, I can see where some people need or like higher fat. Dr. E started listening to Ted Naiman, who had the P:E ratio (protein to “energy”, where E = fat AND carbs). See this:

https://burnfatandgetfit.com/pe-diet-guide

The problem with the P:E ratio is that it assumes that higher fat = fat storage instead of fat loss. Unfortunately, I can’t find the graphs he had that showed this. Maybe this was combined with Diet Doctor?

I don’t go to diet doctor any more.

Me, neither. Loss of a wonderful resource.
