Dr Berg Electrolytes

(Ashley) #1

Has anyone that follows anything with Dr. Berg tried his electrolyte powder? I wouldn’t always use it but he has convenient on the go packages and powder for at home. Might be good to grab and go in a hurry.

Almost a year late with an answer here. I watch his videos, and I thought about buying this product once, but it’s REALLY expensive. Then I found NuSalt (Potassium chloride) at a local store and started mixing that in a 1:2 ratio with sea salt in my tea. It’s cheap, and it makes me feel great, like when I eat half a lb of spinach. Why buy expensive products?

Because you want to support Scientology, and an anti-vaxxer?

They’re both good reasons for buying off “Dr” Berg.

Yeah I realized the more I looked into him it wasn’t worth it and much cheaper more sensible options and it’s just a catch and grab product he sells.

Oh, wow, and it’s true too. That’s crushing because I found Keto through him, and I really like his videos. Glad now that I never bought anything.

Come to think of it, no wonder he occasionally does an anti-psychiatry video out of the blue.

Who knew he was a Scientologist. I hadn’t heard that.

“Dr” Berg is a chiropractor not a medical practitioner “GP”, “MD” or “doctor”. I’m not holding that against him but let’s be clear about it.

And with the magic of the interweb we can all get information straight from the horses mouth(s), you have: Phinney, Volek, Westman, Lustig, Tim Noakes, … Tons of videos, books, conferences,

Phinney coined the very term “nutritional ketosis” providing the initial or very early scientific backbone to the diet. …

Westman has some brief Q&A type vids and addresses many of the questions we all have.

Nina Techholtz and Gary Taubes are also great reads…

This makes Berg a messenger boy. (Selling seaweed or whatever he sells on the side). Not a crime but no thanks …

Heh, well done to you on missing the recent arguments about whether or not that devalues his value to the keto community, then
