Keto is of course at the end of the LCHF range but this article, whilst lacking the science we love is so spot on.

“How do you expect me to get well when you are serving me the same kind of crap that brought me here in the first place?”
And from that one question, a whole lot of good happened. Just goes to show, you never know what the right comment in the right ear can do.
or that people if they thought about their own health without the science come to the answer !
Lastly, he points out, “There is no such thing as a healthy weight, but a healthy person. That is what we should all be aiming for."
I love this!
Yeah not Keto as allies pasta but as per the article small amount and not the pile we normally get
Also I think its great that he went to where Keys based himself and really looked at what they ate…
It’s a fantastic quote isn’t it?
I remember when I was in hospital after the birth of my first child, I woke up ravenously hungry. The food came round and what I had been given was so utterly dismal I burst into tears. I was anaemic and needed feeding up so they insisting on keeping me in a few days - my friends and family took to bringing in fruit, pints of milk and bars of chocolate because I couldn’t eat the crap they were bringing round at meal times - it was desperate stuff. It was literally the worst kind of processed, school lunch type crap you’ve ever seen.
These days I’d be asking for salami sticks and cheese as my contraband but I will never forget looking at a plate of inedible crap and thinking - how am I meant to get my strength back if they’re feeding me this rubbish? I discharged myself in the end and went home to my freezer full of decent food.
Hospitals need to sort this stuff out - pronto.
I just got a like from the man himself on his page because I told someone they could get it on Amazon - starstruck! Lol.
Daisy - did you see that our Doctor in the House, Dr Rangan Chatterjee has a book coming out in January
…and did that fourth episode ever turn up ??
It is, yes, but my sat box won’t work. It should be on iPlayer after it has been on tv though.
I sincerely apologise for sharing something from the Daily Mail but here is an article about Malhotra’s book.
I love the sound of it BUT it will only work for those who are in the same position - relatively isolated and poor - or highly motivated. I agree with him though - “if everyone in Britain adopted the Pioppi diet, we would solve our health crisis in a year”. How to achieve that though? Not so easy.
It’s been featured in the Torygraph as well so maybe we’re getting there albeit slowly…
