Don't stop taking your (magnesium-containing) supplements while on holidays

It’s a REALLY bad idea. SO BAD.

Apparently I am still not getting enough. Leg/Foot/Hand cramps for months (Before Keto as well). Wakes me out of sleep every night…I wonder if it builds muscle mass…all that work they do.

@Gumby I’m still struggling to find the right amount. Last week, I discovered I need to be taking them throughout the day, not just once a day.

I was thinking, my legs always bothered me at night, so that’s when I need to take my supplements, but it seems to work better when I take three doses throughout the day. Go figure. :grinning:

My Dr suggested 500mg twice a day for me.

Can’t shit?

(Michelle isaacson) #6

Does the magnesium make you sleepy? Yes, I always take them at night. I want a full nights sleep l.

I wish… I was constipated, twitchy, and worse headaches, (although that might have been the MIL).

#8

Not sure how it affects my sleep.

(Michelle isaacson) #9

Sheesh! I have not been one bit constipated. But I did take an additional 400mg tonight.

(Running from stupidity) #10

That’s because you’re smart and take it regularly, unlike some idiot OP…

(Michelle isaacson) #11

Maybe the MIL distracted you?

Can’t argue with that. I spent the four days away thinking that I was still going to have to come home and she’d be here
