- Yes, the body will reject too much fat
- No, it isn’t pretty
On the bright side, it’s like aversion therapy for those with binging tendencies. Let’s see if it sticks

LOL!!! Learned this lesson last summer (a full year before I started keto) when a friend had told me about fat bombs…made some delicious cocoa powder/Truvia/COCONUT OIL! treats and overdid it that morning - because they tasted so good. Within an hour or so the purge began…couldn’t go anywhere that day & thank goodness didn’t have to! It was as effective as any colonoscopy prep for sure, and felt very similar. Luckily no “disaster pants” involved, that term cracked me up the first time I heard it on a 2KetoDudes podcast. think that coconut oil should have a warning label
Fortunately it all left the same way it entered. I am happy that coconut oil and MCT oil don’t give me grief on the back end. Maltitol, on the other hand, hooooboy.
What was so striking to me is that I can EAT, but I’ve never felt nauseated or vomited from too much food. In a weird way, it gave me faith in my body that it will put limits on and protect itself where, in contrast, I think the “agreement” I’ve always had with my body is that it’s broken and irreparable. So this was actually, in hindsight, a positive experience.
