Don’t go back to what made you sick in the first place

(Ron D. Garrett) #1

I don’t “hate” on vegans, vegetarians, or even those who choose to eat the SAD (standard American diet).

So I would greatly appreciate it if they would respect the decisions of those who choose to eat differently as to what THEY feel is the best choice for the betterment of their health. Respect goes both ways.

YOU do YOU and I’LL do ME!

Lastly, know that I’m posting this for others ‘cause y’all don’t bother me :joy: as I eat what I want, when I want, and how I want :joy:.

“Grass-based health?” How silly does that sound? I don’t look at my front-yard and think; “Now THAT’S healthy!”

The whole point of being an adventurous N=1 type person is to USE the new information you dig up about yourself!

:slightly_smiling_face: Good point, Ron - there’s a lot of money riding on the continuation of “the way it was before.”

I think they were probably smoking some when they came up with that stuff.

Coming down to earth, I see the old boy who made me sick in the first place; he’s right there in the mirror.

I think I’ve seen that fb page, and I believe they’re all about grass fed beef and about its sustainability being very good.

But, I’ve been wrong before.

Yea, but HALF THE TIME?

I get the common perception that “grass-fed beef” is healthier, but then we see the conflation of concepts into “grass fed health.” My early years of experimentation doesn’t help me over the conceptual hump.

Speaking of food source, metabolism and product, there’s this:

Well “grass-fed” is healthier. Animals eating what they were designed to eat are healthier. That meme wouldn’t be quite so appetizing if it said “I turn grain into bacon…”

(Ron D. Garrett) #8

If you researched GBH you would see that it’s about eating animals that eat grass

You are correct. Peter Ballestadts Page.
