Hello, I’m new here. I’ve been Hashi’s for 15 years.
Yes, the added weight (45 lbs) really stinks, but, honestly…I would say good-bye 1st to depression, lethargy, brain fog. Because I’ve read others feel much better in these areas after changing their system to burn fats, I started the diet 3 days ago. Also, because NO diet or exercise ever worked for me with this sluggish Hashi metabolism, I really liked the idea of “tricking” my metabolism into doing a complete overhaul. Been learning from Dr. Berg’s videos, he explains combining this diet with intermittent fasting, (2 meals a day, closer together) is needed for it to work. Sadly, he adds a few people will have to go to 1 meal/day because of their metabolism and he specifically mentions Hashi folks. This made me sad.
So…does anyone have any feedback on failed attempts or success stories. Wondering if I’m wasting my time and energy. THANK YOU.
