Does keto make you look younger?

I got I.D.'d today! Am almost 39 (so 20 years legal), did a little happy dance in the shop and professed my undying love for the wonderful shop assistant. Anyone else being told they look younger?

Some people look older, some people look younger.

theoretically speaking, if keto helps heal the body, than one’s appearance would reflect that with better looking skin, more vitality etc., not to mention how it could have a change in mood that could make one appear more youthful.

I’ve been told several times that yes I look younger, and now one response when confronted by someone with my transformation say “yeh, I lost 20 years” which is undeniable. :grinning:

I think it’s all about timing. I think initially for a lot of people, initially you look older (as the stretched out skin, covering your excess fat is stretched…losing weight hides the wrinkles more).
Then, as we continue on, with eliminating stacking - IF and, for some EF, autophagy helps to reclaim that excess skin, tightening things up and making us look younger.

At least, that’s what I’m hoping for. I’ve had both comments made…both older and younger. (The older comment was from my father - me, I think it’s just sour grapes)
