Hi,
I have an overweight friend who has a staghorn kidney stone and has had one kidney removed. This is a less common kidney stone. Does anyone know if there is any reason why they couldn’t do the keto lifestyle?
Thank you in advance.

My understanding is that a ketogenic diet will help reduce kidney and gall stones, but that the stones can move after they start to shrink, and that can be quite painful.
