Dizziness and fatigue during Workouts keto 5. Week

Hey guys,

how did you manage to workout the first weeks? In the first week I felt like really dizzy, in the second week surprisingly I got my strength back. BUT since the third 3. Week it aggravated again.
Either my weight lifting nor my cardio are good. At least I’m quite exhausted as I used to be…
Do the muscle need more time to use ketones compared to the brain?
Extra to this I had real bad muscle sore and cramps…
I take my supplements like magnesium right with the beginnen and added calcium and potassium since last week.
I have to admit I don’t like the thought of losing strength… :smiley:

What were your experience?

My experience was that I did not start working out until month 5.

Until you are fat adapted, you won’t have much energy as your body is learning which fuel source to use, ketones over glucose.
You will feel sluggish and tired a lot of the time.

I had a very significant drop in energy in the beginning, it lasted until about the 12th week… I could barely walk up a flight of stairs :frowning: But once the strength comes back, you can quickly jump back to your routinr :slight_smile:
I solved the dizziness problem by licking coarse salt and plenty of water.
