Hello. I’m new to keto just having started about a month ago. I’ve lost about 12 pounds so far and I feel as though I’m starting to get a little.
More comfortable with it. My question right now is it better to keep my macros in ratio throughout the day or is it ok to load up on fats at breakfast or any other meal as long as my macros are good by the end of the day? Any help or advice is greatly appreciated!

Don’t stress about macros is my best advice aside from carbs, don’t stress. But as far as “is it ok to eat one fat-heavy meal” - yes.

Thanks exactly what I hoped to hear! One other ( probably one of many to come) would it be better to eat more fat in the morning or maybe as my last meal of the day? Or would it matter?
Everyone is different, but personally I’m not that hungry in the morning. Previously I was making dinner my biggest meal of the day, but eventually I hit a stall. Then after listening to one of the podcast episodes, I decided to make lunch my biggest meal of the day and the stall has been broken. Now I’m not starving by the time dinner rolls around, and eating everything in sight as a result.
depends on what your goals are. personally, after doing keto for a few months and becoming fat-adapted, i transitioned into eating all of my calories in one sitting (one meal daily) to optimize my body’s ability to burn fat. i generally consume 160-190 grams of fat inside of a 20 or 30 minute window each day lol. this video may prove useful to ya: https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=Kursy8QNTKg

Sounds like a plan. Don’t eat to get a specific amount of fat; eat to satisfy your hunger. As one of our members likes to put it, carb is a limit, protein is a goal, and fat is a fill-in. Keeping carbohydrate low is the most important part, the rest is more in the nature of tweaking.

The idea was to distribute the 20g carbs over several meals instead of having all 20g in one big hit. Don’t want to wake Mr Insulin up. But the rest don’t matter so much. Except I get drowsy if I eat too much protein. Did before keto, still do now. I don’t want to nap during the day. So I alway mix things up.
Also eating earlier in the day is better than later in the evening near bed time.
Thanks for the reply Alex99, I feel as though I distribute my carbs pretty evenly but typically I’m way under my daily allowance. Rarely do I get over 15 carbs per day and I look for hidden carbs pretty carefully. I usually get a high percentage of fat during breakfast and kind of cruise through the rest of the day. I am practicing the 18 6 fasting principle as well and sometimes I’ll go 20 4 and eat just two meals. So far so good, finishing 5 weeks and I’ve gone from 232 lbs. to 214 today. Pretty excited!
