Discomfort

Well that’s a waste.

I’m just assuming this is what OP was talking about since nobody knows what Zero is. Lots of misinformation on the internet. Sounds like the OP read that “Zero” “cures what ails ya” somewhere and is hoping for a miracle instead of seeing a medical professional.

Very much so. I am angry at the EU for promoting this terrible sweetener. It’s in virtually all of the non-sugared sodas in Europe. Now it is in most in the USA also.

Hey guys,

Its this: https://highfive.co.uk/product/hydrate/zero/
Sports hydration that replaces the essential minerals.
Now concerned that its having a negative affect…
Anyone care to comment?

(Pete A) #14

I never heard of that, so thanks for enlightening! I see it’s potassium etc so sounds good, although I’d still play around with what you’re ingesting.

(Ethan) #15

Interesting. I didn’t know that product. It has some sweeteners, which affect people differently. I would reference this for more information on sorbitol:

Good that you are listening to your body, keep going!

At what point does asking a simple question on a related forum that deals daily with weird side effects of starting out on this WOE lead to “hoping for a miracle instead of seeing a medical professional.” Not everybody is a hypochondriac and runs to the ER everytime they have a new pain. Especially when starting a new diet known for weird things happening at first.

(Lonnie Hedley) #18

I’ll rarely tell someone they should see a doctor unless I can personally relate to the situation. In my case I was happy I saw the doctor. I don’t think being concerned with your health justifies calling someone a hypochondriac. I had similar symptoms before I went to the doctor.

(Pete A) #20

This could be many things, from a hernia, appendicitis, pulled groin muscle. Worth making an appointment if it persists. One could suspect electrolytes or specifically diet related in which case you have options to change things up.

Good luck I hope you feel better!

(Pete A) #21

Now, now people.

(Lonnie Hedley) #22

Not everyone is a hypochondriac!!! HAHAHA

(Claudine Wicks) #23

Guys! Please calm down I dont want anyone having bad feelings.

I only wanted to know if anyone else had experienced a stitch like pain in their keto journey.

No arguements or disagreements on my watch!

(Lonnie Hedley) #24

Like I said in my first comment, yes I did. You have to make your own choices, but I’m glad I made the choice to get my pain checked out. Getting checked out by a medical professional does not mean you’re a hypochondriac, only that you take your health seriously. I wish you the best.

(Darlea Marneedi) #25

You didn’t say if it was upper or lower side. Gallbladder pain can be transient and it may be going to higher fat diet may trigger gallbladder pain. I worked in surgery for 10 years(registered nurse) and the typical gall bladder surgeries were female, 40+, overweight, and a lot of people who have lost significant weight will have gallbladder trouble. Worth getting checked out.

I did when I first started. It went away after about a week. I thought it was my kidneys but the pain didn’t worsen. Trying taking in more salt.

Calm your asses down people before we have to lock this thread and maybe even take actions against individuals.

This will be the one and only warning from the admins.

Thanks.
