This and regular coconut oil? I can’t figure it out.

This has the meat of the coconut in it, too, not just the oil.

ahh, thank you!

it’s kind of more like a natural nut butter…except the oil “floats” to the top even after you mix…so you have to mix it each time you use it
like a thinner unrefrigerated peanut butter…that becomes a rock when cool and a jar of steel if you do refrigerate it LOL

it’s yummy…the first keto recipe i ever bookmarked was for a coconut butter cake…which i still haven’t made because i think it will be too good LOL

it’s already rock hard and I don’t keep it in the fridge. harder to mix than dry cement. I put it in hot water yesterday and it didn’t help.

i always microwave it and then mix (i’ve only had it in glass jars)…which because it is such a pain…i actually forget to eat it LOL

Once the oil separates, you just have ground coconut meat. I work it with a fork to chunk it up and will just add more coconut oil to it to add the fat back. Even though it is a bit of work, this stuff is amazing.

ok, I will try. So far, it’s just hard coconut oil to me, and I couldn’t figure out the magic. I found it by chance at a store so had to buy it. My normal store doesn’t carry it.

i love this stuff

I LOVE Coconut Butter. I eat a spoonful when I’m craving dessert (it’s naturally sweet). I microwave it (not a lot, just to soften it, and mix it up really well the first time I open a jar and it stays mixed when it hardens back up. If you microwave it too much and it turns to liquid, the oil will separate and you’ll have to do the whole thing all over again.

I had to break up with the beloved coconut butter/ manna. Used to have a tablespoon of it with a square of 90% chocolate for a treat. Then the treat became a nightly ritual and the tablespoon became a half cup. I love it, but realized it made me bingey so I never bought it again. I’m sure others enjoy it with much more restraint!

I find the best way to dig it out is put a spoon in a cup of hot boiling water - let it heat up. Dry hot spoon with towel and immediately sink the spoon into the coconut manna. The hot spoon will cut right through the coconut.
