Dietdoctor..going to press the green button

(Dustin) #1

Today is the day I’m going to agree to the 9.00 per month and see what kind of extra info I can get on dietdoctor.com

#2

You get a month free though still no?

(Dustin) #3

yes, but anytime ya have to register your card, may as well call it a purchase. lol. Anyway logged in and cruised the site for the last five minutes, and…I’m excited!

(Steven Cook) #4

I’ve been a member for over a year. The in-depth interviews and conference presentations are great. Looking forward to lots of new content from Low-Carb Breckinridge. The recipes aren’t really my thing TBH although I do use/prefer their fathead pizza recipe.

SQUEEEEEEEE!
I was there! Even hugged Andreas. And Fung. And Ivor. And Gary. And Carl. And Richard. Lol

Keto = hugs

(Steven Cook) #6

To be fair, if I’d been there I’d have hugged them too!

(8 year Ketogenic Veteran) #7

Yeah. Andreas got me started with LCHF 4 years ago. I told him that. It was his Diet Doctor site that started it all for me!
Then Fung. His fasting protocol has improved my health DRAMATICALLY. He’s a hero to me. Plus he loves the word FUCK , and he and I had a talk about curse words and their importance for honest passionate expression.
Then Gary Fettke. I had the privilege of having him over for dinner at the house we all shared and got to tell him about how keto my healed my foot neuropathy. It made him smile. If you know his story, you’ll know why this is especially significant to him.

Carl and Richard? They’re my friends. And good ones at that. Both excellent cooks and huggers btw.

Listen to me babble. I JUST HAD SUCH A FANTASTIC TIME

Very Cool, yes I’m a truck driver with a trucker’s mouth…not saying I’m proud of it, but…love hearing a Dr. not being bashful about saying F###. lol.

I will check out Gary Fettke, not familiar with that name.

Your post are helpful as well, so now would be a good time to say…thank you.

(Jaidann) #9

I’ve been wanting to do this but something always stops me. I think it’s nerves about buying a subscription off the internet LOL

(Dustin) #10

I’m already happy I did. Plenty of videos.

(8 year Ketogenic Veteran) #11

Me? Cool.
YOU’RE SUPER FUCKING WELCOME x1000

(No I'm not mad - that's just my face) #12

I fuckinglove this thread.

(Dustin Cade) #13

I would have loved to be there, would love to go to Ketofest, though these things take money… so i’m hoping more of the lectures from LCB show up on youtube…

(Dustin Cade) #14

I too am a huge hugger… becoming a smaller hugger… haha

#15

I’ve been a member from day one. I believe in Andreas’ cause and showed my support by giving a bit of $ each month.

(Candace) #16

Wow after reading all these posts, it sounds like a great site - I’ll have to check it out

#17

I’m new here but been a diet doctor subscriber for a year or so. They are always putting new stuff up. And there’s lots of old stuff to trawl through too. Well worth the small monthly investment I say.

(Keto in Katy) #18

I have been a paying member for several months. I like a lot of the videos and interviews they publish, and I like knowing that my contribution could help others in their path to wellness.

Actually they are very good at not doing so. I trialled it right at the start. Think they might have given you longer than a month too but I forget. Anyway, I basically watched and read everything on there because it was early days and there wasn’t much. When I have the time to really get stuck in I will definitely be signing up because they have built a huge library of goodies there now. There is no comparison to when I trialled it as to quantity. Enjoy.

Don’t be put off. They are super honest and you can cancel right up to the last minute of the trial if you choose.

I think joining the diet doctor site and paying for it was the single thing that has helped me the most getting into a LCHF lifestyle. The videos introduced such a great cast of characters like Jason Fung and Ivor Cummins. I felt it was worth supporting and the recipe ideas are useful too even if I rarely follow them entirely.
Either way, I feel $9 a month is such a small amount to pay for such great content.
