Diet soda?

Been doing Keto for four days now down 7lbs but I’m not in ketosis yet can diet soda block you from getting there?

it is very possible, everyone seems to be effected differently. Got a buddy who had no problem with ketones on diet soda for years until this year

I think anything that raises insulin tends to impede ketosis. Many artificial sweeteners raise insulin.

Personally, knocking off the Diet Dr. Pepper helped me break a 6 month stall.

Be patient. You’re going through glycogen depletion. Real lipolysis begins when that’s over. Depending on degree of metabolic derangement, measurable ketones may not show for a while. But have no fear, you’re in lipolysis. (Burning fat)

I feel better I guess I’m out of the flu.lol,I drink a bullet proo ftea because I don’t like coffee,2 hard boiled eggs and 4 pieces of turkey bacon for breakfast.Lunch pork tenderloin 6oz. With two tbs of grass fed butter, spinach with Cesar dressing, walnuts,one mozzarella string cheese.Diner chicken breast,salad ,olives cherries tomatoes and cucumbers

Can I ask why your eating turkey bacon instead of actual bacon? Why do the low fat version?

It’s what we had left,we are buying regular bacon now.
