Diaster pants - which meal? TMI ahead

(betsy.rome) #1

On a whim, I ate a keto fast food supper, which I rarely do. I went to Taco Bell and got 1 regular taco without taco shell, just taco meat & cheese over lettuce, with sour cream & salsa. Should be fine, right?

WRONG. I went shopping and about 45 minutes later had complete disaster pants. Thank goodness the store had decent restrooms! It was a single episode of a normal amount, looser than usual, mading me feel weak for the evening.

I’m OK today, but left me wondering, how do I know if was it the taco, or something earlier that I ate? Does bad food go through us that quickly?

I find that there are certain things that cause a reaction almost instantly. MCT oil (or coconut oil) in excess is one example.

Were I you, I would cross Taco Bell off of the list for dining out, or at a minimum, the one you went to.

even PK (pre keto) certain taco bell’s caused a bad (worse) reaction more than others

Yep, I’ve had things hit me that fast. My guess would be Taco Bell.

FYI, all the taco meat mixes at Taco Bell have gluten in them. It just goes to show that they use fillers in everything.

There is flour in the meat. Its what gives it that “creamy” texture…you might have reacted to that.
