So did I… my favorite donut (I know, me and donuts) but this particular one (the glazed buttermilk bar - I swear it weighs 1lb) was not available on previous carb-ups. I had just passed into “overweight” BMI from “obese” so thought I’d celebrate like the last one celebrated 100lbs lost. This one, unlike the last, hit me like a ton of bricks and I woke up in the middle of the night with a headache and feeling intensely nauseous. I swear to god, it was like a hangover. 

Today, I was extra hungry and could undoubtedly eat lots of carbs BUT I DIDN’T. I just fed myself macadamias in measured doses and the odd square of dark chocolate and ate normal keto.
It was helpful to think of the carb hangover to prevent transgressions
