Day 9 headache. Keto flu or not enough food?

Hey, so as the title says, I’m Day 9. Haven’t had keto flu up to now, but this evening my head is thumping!

Ate last night at about 8pm, didn’t eat again till 1.30pm this afternoon. Which was when I first became hungry.

Do you think I’ve just not eaten enough rather than keto flu?

My guess, like many responses you are going to get, is not enough salt. Eat lots of salt, because your kidneys are flushing sodium out like crazy. :grin::+1:

Would you just take salt on its own to boost or add to food?

Either will work, you could even use sodium pills if you are not into salty foods and drinks. It is the sodium you are after.

I can eat Himalayan rock salt crystals like kids eat rock candy.

Just had a spoon of salt. Might puke :nauseated_face: was not nice

Pinches of salt under tongue work for me, but it takes getting used to

I’ve come to really enjoy frequent little pinches of Real Salt under my tongue throughout the day! I did too much salt the first time I tried it though and I was gagging. Oh man, it was gross.

Yes, I tried hymalian, Celtic, and real Salt, they each add there own flavor and strength, but my favorite is the real Salt.
