Day 55

No scale so far.
Being diligent. Journaling everything.
Not overdoing calories.
Carbs never over 15. Many days under 10.
Face and fingers are thinner.
Bottom and stomach flabby.
I’m discouraged.
Helpful feedback welcome or l may need to try something else. Thanks.

I thought belly and bottom would respond by now at least a little. They did last time within 24 days.

You never know what will transform first. You need to be patient. 55 days may seem like a long time, but usually it’s much longer before you see, feel, and can confirm the changes. Patience, grasshopper! You got this!

Look for non-scale victories.

Not everyone can look/be exactly like/as they wish. In fact, almost no one does/is.

Are you healthy today? Are you doing better than yesterday, however you define that? Can you perform life and enjoy it? These are the things that should matter, not the exact shape of your butt.

Also, face don’t lie. If your cheeks look different, that’s probably good.

At that point I lost exactly no fat and just got my fat adaptation so my usual strong and sudden hunger went away, finally… I was very happy with that development… I even started to eat less after that, unfortunately it passed but it was nice while lasted.

It seems you are way more successful even in the beginning, great!

People change, other factors change, it’s not that unusual to experience different things than last time.
When I had this weight 10 years ago, I lost fat at a nice pace while being inactive (unusual from me but happened) and half-living on sweets (but low-carb ones)… Now I get no fat-loss with much more effort. Well that’s discouraging but what could I do? :smiley: I can’t just give up! And I can enjoy the other benefits while my body (and sometimes my mind) decides to work with me regarding the need or lack of it for my too extensive fat reserves.

Your face got thinner, it’s a win, I really don’t see why you aren’t pleased. Yeah, I know, my belly is my problem place and it wasn’t nice that it changed little while my face slimmed down, my thighs stayed thich but still definitely got thinner… That is the part many of us need to be patient with, eventually it will change too. And our own eyes are unreliable. I didn’t even see ANY changes on me while losing a lot of fat, for several months. Everyone saw it but me. And one day I looked at an old photo and got surprised. And it was my face and it changed drastically. And I didn’t see it. I saw nothing on my belly as it was fat and it stayed fat but my pants showed it got significantly smaller too…
