Day 30 of my cycle and I want to eat all the keto things!

PMS hits me hard. So I made four slices of bacon. Salvaged two overripe avocados and ate maybe 1.5 avocados between the two. Two cups of coffee with MCT oil powder. I was finally satisfied.

I decided to get out of the house. Library. Voted. I came back, both babies were asleep, and I smelt this morning’s bacon. Ugh! There was no running out for food. I found a leftover chicken thigh. It wasn’t enough.

Meanwhile the little one woke up I mixed up some rice cereal and bananas. Which smelled divine. Seriously. It smelt like banana bread. No hating on the cereal and bananas - I babysit them and their mom chooses their food. Baby was fed and satisfied playing with toys but I was still ravenous.

I dug through the freezer and HALLELUJAH! I had about a cup of frozen taco meat. I added a sprinkling of sharp cheddar and microwaved it. That hit the spot!

Lesson - have an emergency stash!

So you left some kids alone in the house while you went to vote. Should’ve stopped at the store too lol

I’m waiting to hear this answer as well…

Lol! No I took them with me! They fell asleep on the way home. I thought I was fine until I walked in the house with the first sleeping kid and the smell of bacon hit me!

Hormones are a
bitch
. Hang in there Michelle.

Gahhhh! I’ve learned this lesson the hard way too many times :tired_face: Mine just started and now I understand why I’ve been ravenous and craving everything lately

I’m just glad I don’t have any peanut butter in the house.

I keep a stash of canned (lasts for years without spoiling) fish- tuna, salmon, sardines, crab, mackerel, etc in the cabinet for “instant” meals. Just add mayo (or avocado if available). If I have an additional 2-3 minutes, I’ll throw in any veggies that are on hand like celery, tomatoes, spinach, etc.

Good idea. When I was digging through the freezer I came across a pack of junk salmon filets from Walmart. They were horrible. But I had a fleeting thought of cooking one.
