Day 10, Keytones @5... I’m good, right?

Ok… so here goes…

Today is day 10 since I jumped in with both feet. I feel bloody FANTASTIC…

Not hungry at all, which is extremely weird…
But loving it!

Haven’t been on a scale, because quite frankly this is about FEELING good, not some number on a scale. (I decided I was divorcing the scale)

I haven’t been working out hard…

And today my ketone tester arrived and it read 5…

I’d already at once at that point, and I took it again after I’d eaten dinner (wasn’t really hungry, but ate something anyway) and it again was above 5…

Is this normal? No I am not diabetic… I’m just curious if there is a downfall to this?

How can I make it go lower? I can’t beleive I’m even asking that…

Thanks gang! Yes… I’m new here.

Blood ketone levels? If so you are great. No insulin resistance for you at all.

There’s no real upper limit unless you don’t make insulin (type 1 diabetes). Most blood ketone testers only go up to 8 or so.

The pee keto sticks are terrible.

It doesn’t matter how you measured if you feel great. Keep at it.

Thank you for the quick response!! Super helpful! I started googling and all I could find was diabetic warnings, and knew that wasn’t the case. So thank you for clarifying!!

Tested blood…

Assuming I’m great to go back to my awesome workouts now. Yay!! That was quick and painless!

This is SUPER!! I freakin love bacon! Just sayin…
