I am a teacher and have gone back to work now that summer is over. With how busy I am I have noticed 1. I am barely ever hungry and 2. I am fasting everyday for 24 hours. In other words I am only eating dinner. Sometimes it’s more like 27 or 28 hours. Is this something that I can keep up on keto and be healthy? It’s been a week now like this.

People normally refer to this as OMAD (one meal a day). There is essentially nothing wrong with it if you’re feeling OK. Some argue if you keep this routine your body will adapt and weight loss might stall, so you can try to adopt a different routine on weekends.

I believe on the “Changing it up” episode of the keto dudes podcast, Ramos seems to advise against this for people early on trying to loose weight or gain muscle, but seems to think it’s actually very good for people that are already at whatever the ideal body shape they want is, as it helps essentially lock them into that set (maintain) and she vaguely alludes to other benefits (I’m guessing less oxidation / aging processes).
