Could it be? Possibly Fat adapted?

So I’ve been on and off Keto since last year, approximately this time of year. I was sort of low carb and then went strict keto for a couple of months but then kind of stayed mostly low carb and some weeks keto. Overall though I was very self aware of my carbs and when I went off course the carbs weren’t as bad as before my pre-Keto life. So on August first I decided to get back on the horse for real this time, the first three weeks I was below 70 grams of carbs, just the cravings were killing me, by the 3rd week I tighten up the ropes and started doing below 20 gm, and for the last two weeks though I’ve been gravitating towards 15gms of net carbs. So it’s been almost a month of strict keto and I have also incorporated some weight lifting and a bit of cardio maybe 2 to 3 times a week. In the last few days I’ve been feeling somewhat different though, almost as if my body is buzzing with energy, I noticed the ketons on my urine seem to have dropped (even though I’m staying well below 20net grms of carbs) so my question is could it be possible my body has started to become fat adapted? I know it does take longer but considering I’ve been low carb for a year maybe it has taken a shorter time frame? has anyone been low carb for a while and then switch to keto? how long did it take to become fat adapted?

Yes.
And if you were fat-adapted before (whether knowingly or unaware) you will get back to burning fat way easier every time after.
Your body will burn what you give it, depending on what you give it now. It’ll switch to burning fat for energy much more efficiently again even after you’ve stopped for a bit.

Thank you so much, I’m super excited about it. I’ve also noticed that I haven’t been hungry, today I literally just had one meal so far, it is 4:30pm here and I’m not really that hungry but I am feeling pretty energetic considering I’m sick with a cold and having eaten only once so far!

I hope you are - fat adapted. It is wonderful and liberating. I will share what someone else here said; that is, you will know it when you get there. For me, I knew when I could do sustained physically demanding tasks for long term with ample energy and no hunger or desire to re-fuel.
