Costco Kirkland Balsamic of Modena

(Garry (Canada)) #1

Yay or nay?

Originally when I started buying this it has 2 carbs net/TBSP. Now it is labelled as 7 carbs net/TBSP. Nothing has changed other than the label. Wtf???

Anybody else use this product? What does yours say?

I typically use 1TBSP BV +2TBSP of Olive oil as salad dressing but if it is in fact 7c/TBSP…whoa!

Thoughts?

I’d offer if you can’t live without it then fit that in your carb budget and game on.

I adored the taste of BV before keto, but now I’ve got a variety of other vinegars to make a dressing from, red wine, white wine, rice wine, and the king ACV which in and of itself helps glucose control.

I use it (sparingly) on occasion and just count the carbs.

My Bg meter says no bueno. I use red wine vinegar with some erythritol in it. I put about 1/4 cup in a new bottle of rwv.

Costco contracts out all the Kirkland Signature branded items, and as soon as they find a better buy, they’ll change suppliers.

Yup which is why you have to read the labels.
