Costco Coconut Oil Class Action Law Suit

Long story short. There is a class action law suit against Costco. They marketed coconut nut oil as being healthy and people sued.
Where is the fat free class action? Or the eat carbs and exercise class action? Or allegedly “heart healthy” class action? I was heart broken seeing this in the mail. They just had a class action suit against a tool to reverse type 2 diabetes, kill cancer cells, reduce obesity, and a myriad of ailments attested to on this forum.

Two observations.

  1. California. :roll_eyes:

  2. $775k is a “small” class action settlement given the size of Costco. They would have paid multiples of that to defend this case and probably $775k on an expert witness(es) alone and a couple of million in legal fees. This appears to be a nuisance value settlement IMO.

PS Your sadness point is well taken, by the way. I totally hear you.

I know it’s frivolous, and a law firm cashed in. I will reject my three bucks on principal.
