Controversy ..just wondering

Try this.
Monday whole body
Tuesday rest/ leisure walk
Wednesday whole body
Thursday rest leisure walk
Friday whole body
Saturday/ Sunday rest.

I find splits a waste of time. The body muscles work in unison, exercise in the same manner.
We build muscle outside of the gym, Spend less time tearing them down (lifting) and more time on rebuilding (nutrition and rest) bigger stronger muscles.

What recipe do you use?

I have a recipe for a 1 min muffin but it’s too eggy to use for eggs benedict. But put a little cream cheese in there…with cinnamon…that’s yummy.

Omg that’s what I just moved on from :joy: as I was getting back into the gym flow that’s the exact routine I used except on the days in between I did HIIT but I’ve been measuring hips waist etc and stopped seeing improvement so moved on.

(What The Fast?!) #24

1 egg
1T butter
1T coconut flour
pinch of baking soda

Microwave 90 seconds. Cut in half, fry it in bacon grease (I almost always eat this with bacon, so I just cook it in the pan after I make the bacon) to crisp it up.

Fry in bacon grease…you’re a genius…

so they say
I suppose you could try toasting it…but what’s the fun in that?

I prefer to stay under 20 total carbs. I am losing 2-3 lbs per week. I could possibly lose more but I love, love, my fat.

This formula is set to weed out the people that are over their bodyfat guidelines and is most accurate at the point where the cut off is. Its less accurate the further away from that you get.

Try googling ā€œbod pod near meā€ and ā€œdexa near meā€ to see if you can get an accurate body fat percentage. If you have trainers at the gym that are good you may be able to get a skin fold test done. Those will be close depending on the skill level of the person doing it. For better precision you would want to see the same person each time. I think being precise is more important than being accurate on this as you want to be able to monitor changes over time.

(Amanda) #29

Yeah I tried that there are none near me. I think I will ask my gym though. Thanks!

(Amanda) #30

2-3 lbs a week is awesome! Not sure if any more than that is healthy haha! What kind of foods do you eat besides the obvious that we all have to love…avacado lol

(Terri) #31

First…I eat a lot of bacon. And sometimes I have some bacon with my bacon :yum: Loads of avocado! A crap ton (sorry for the technical terminology) of grass fed butter! I put butter on everything! High fat meats and massive quantities of macadamia nuts.

(Brian) #32

Something I noticed both in the store and when I came home to ask Mr. Google, is that the nutrition listings for macadamia nuts list 6g of sugar per cup. Might not make a huge difference to someone who only eats a few but I wondered if it was something to be concerned about when eating a LOT of them. (Richard, did you go ā€œnutsā€ on macadamia nuts when you were doing the Feldman protocol? I thought of you when I was mulling over the label in the store.)

(Amanda) #33

That’s interesting I just bought a tub of macadamia and had planned to add them to my diet. Would love to know more about that. I didn’t even notice the sugar.

Me too!!!
