I posted this elsewhere but may get an answer here.
Here’s an interesting BG twist that is a bit confusing to me.
Last night while fasting at 72+hours my blood glucose was 53. Low but normal for fasting.
This morning after fasting 85 hours it was still 54. OK, understandable.
Tonight, at hour 95 and after then eating several fried mozzarella sticks and several sweet potato fries I figured my post eating BG reading would be in the 80s or 90s.
Instead, when I tested at three hours after eating my BG was still at 58!
This good or bad? It wasn’t that heavy of a meal but I am full. Or does it mean I’m having a huge insulin spike to keep my BG that low?
I’m not diabetic or on blood sugar lowering drugs.
Except for my usual orthoststic hypotension, I feel fine.
