Started taking collagen several months back when I was experiencing significant hair loss. (Two scoops in morning coffee.) Hair loss has stopped, thankfully. Can’t swear it was the collagen, as I also started biotin and keratin and a couple other supplements. BUT… my nails are stronger and grow faster. Fewer wrinkles on my face. And the biggie for me is the disappearance of a large (nickel sized) age spot on my cheek. Since covid and retirement I have stopped wearing makeup, so less “face time” with a mirror. Looked today and that spot is totally gone. What awesomeness is this???
Collagen: Spot remover?
That’s great I did a 60 hour fast last week and one small one on my wrist seemed a little paler, Idk if it was my imagination or not?
I am fairly new still and have some collegian arriving by post very soon.
I have started the collagen in my coffee too. I’d swear that I shave face more often, and my head too…I started shaving my head 20 years ago from male pattern baldness, but I think there is more hair now, but I like bald, I never have a bad hair day.
I do think my skin is better too, but hard to tell.
I belong to another forum where we talk about taking collagen and several people say the red splotches on their faces have gone.
The biggest thing I notice is that I have to cut my nails regularly or they get so long I can’t work on the computer. It spent most of my life with thin peeling nails that barely grew. I have to get my roots touched up every 4 weeks instead of 6 and my hair will grow longer than it ever has before.
Yes! Part of aging is less hair in um, many places. But it’s back. And although I still have the same amount of gray on my head, the rest of my hair is much darker now. Crazy, but I’ll take it!
Yep, my nails are so strong now and grow so fast! And my toenails, which were too thick and ugly to expose for many years, have not gone normal. I’m waiting for my brain to rejuvenate! LOL
Good for you! Give it time. I think it took about 6 months or so to see the difference in my skin. Nail and hair growth were faster. Take a close-up of your face, hair, nails etc… so you can compare, I wish I had done that!
