Has anybody tried Allulose or inulin as a sweetener for coffee? It`s been 2 years and i STILL miss sugar in my morning cup. I really dislike the other sweeteners.
Coffee Sweetener
Haven’t tried those, sorry. Have tried stevia, and also stevia/erythritol and monk fruit/erythritol. I’m totally a double-double coffee person so it’s hard for me to not have my coffee sweet. I find that all three of those only take the bitter off the nose but don’t actually make it sweet. Sweet and low does a good job at mimicking sugars taste but is of course pure garbage. I’ve resigned myself to just using creamer and foregoing any sweetener. It’s not ideal but I think my morning coffee is more mental habit at this point than physical need. I’m also hoping that eventually I will learn to love unsweetened coffee though I may be hoping for too much there.
A few people mentioned monkfruit drops on a facebook group I belong to. Maybe I’ll try that.
I tried allulose to make a ice cream, it was delicious and stayed soft. I ditched it because it caused the worst intestinal upset. I got the Pure monk fruit powder and it’s very sweet with no troubles so I just ordered a monk fruit liquid drops.
