Anyone aware of any issue having citrus on the keto diet? I’m seeing conflicting information.
Citrus?

Depends
A medium orange has about 10 net carbs which are all simple sugars.
Best to avoid if you’re trying to keep your insulin under control.

Ya I avoid oranges (unless there is like one tiny slice at a breakfast or somewhere). Limes and lemons are ok. Look at DietDoctor. They have good graphics on fruit and carb content. https://www.dietdoctor.com/low-carb/fruits

Citrus is a potent lowerer of ketones for me. When my ketones are above my target range I will eat citrus and when I’m in range and have carbs to spare I might squeeze a bit of lime or lemon juice into a dish or drink, but otherwise I skip it.
