Chronometer premium?

Is the premium Chronometer worth paying for? The advertising is irritating but I don’t know if it’s worth paying for premium…

I pay for it, but I’ve been using the paid one for months so I don’t really remember what the other version was like, TBH. I believe the paid one has better reporting options, and some other things, but I’m not sure, sorry.

I am CERTAINLY getting money’s worth, though, I will say that. I find it to be a very important tool. OTOH, I’m a touch obsessive at times…

I used to pay for MFP premium which wasn’t really worth the money, this is why I’m hesitant. Normally I pay for apps straight away as I detest advertising but this isn’t a small amount… also this is only my third day of going back to tracking (not counting, just tracking to see where changes can be made) and I may end up bored of it quickly… :joy:

Yeah, this is very different.

Yep, that’s fair

I love cronometer, and have found it v useful.

True to form, i used it intensively and comprehensively until I had recorded enough data to see what I needed (average macro and vit/min intakes), then made some dietary changes, and stopped using the app.

I now look in and enter a full day, now and then, to see if I am running how I want.

For me, Premium would be a waste of money. Though I agree, the adverts are v irritating!

I paid for it more out of appreciation than anything else.

Same.

One word, two edits. Thanks forum software!

I did wonder what happened there.

I think so. When I went premium I did it mainly because that was the only way to use the app on the phone, which I don’t think is the case anymore. Ads are easy enough to block, but the advanced charting you get for me is worth it by itself. Timestamps have come in handy as well when / if I track blood sugar or ketones after meals and creating separators in between my meals / snacks if much better to deal with than it all being in there together.

Yes, its totally worth paying for the full version in my opinion. I was lucky enough to get a special $29 a year sub, not sure what the full price is for the Gold premium but don’t need to worry until April. I used it for 3 months free and it was still good but had to use the online browser version. The ability to create recipes, add custom foods, and charting are very good reasons for upgrading and of course the phone app if you’re into them.

Totally agree, an app is only as good as the data you provide. If you input the data you’ll get decent graphs and useful charts, depends if you can be bothered. For me its quite easy because I’m a data type of guy. Cronometer is the best tracking app I’ve come across so far.

I’ve paid £5.49 for a month of premium and at the end of the month will decide if it’s worth me paying the £31.99 for a twelve month subscription.

Thanks everyone
