Cereal Companies Putting the Sugar Back

(Dawn) #1

Hi Family;

The Cereal industry has decided to go back to sugary cereals and they are abandoning the “healthy cereal” facade. This article made me laugh out loud. It also made me happy because Cereal producers are finally deciding to just be who they are and be honest about what they are. IMO, Cereals “disguised” as healthy breakfast alternatives are super dangerous. Catch words like “extra protein” or “low sugar” are luring in those IR folks who think they are eating healthy but not. I think the healthy cereal phase was just deceptive. I am personally very happy to see the “healthy cereal” farse go away. If you love cereal and you understand the ill effects of sugary cereals but still chose to eat them, then that’s your choice. Here is the article below. I like the honesty. It’s a good thing. It will help people make more realistic choices in the future.

Wow, look at this one clip from the article…if this doesn’t scare you, what does?

I keep running into articles about diabetes stating that Alzheimer’s disease is Type 3 diabetes.

Yes Sir! I have heard this over and over…and I have also read that if you can reduce your insulin resistance “in the brain” as the article says, you can reduce your changes of Alzheimers. Amazing.

I’ve noticed that, too. And even an article calling heart disease Type 4.

I’d add to that list - The widely accepted loss of muscle with aging and especially the pathological case sarcopenia are insulin resistance of muscle.
