Carl's Bzoodles

(Mandy) #1

Hey all,

Finally got the time to try out @carl bzoodles. Here is my experience.

I am using a ceramic glass top oven. Its heat goes from low to high with numbers in between. I found to cook, I needed to use 4. When I put the batter into the pan, I needed to swirl it to get coverage across the pan. I cooked until it was waving at me on the sides. Flipped it, cooked for another 15 seconds or so. Came out great. Mixed with only butter, parsley and salt after.

Beautiful!

I finally got all of the items needed to make the bzoodles. I made a lot, serving all of the beautiful ones tomorrow for KETO friends, but here is my shrimp scampi with the mistake bzoodles. I liked the texture and it drank up the sauce nicely.

That looks delicious

It really was, I am going to make Carl’s white lasagna this weekend and I’ll post that photo too! I am looking forward to it!

Do you think kids would like this? I would love to have something that tasted like noodles, to give my kids when they want pasta.

Oh yeah, how do we get the recipe?

(Susan) #7

You buy it from Carl, the cookbook.

Thank you, Susan. I found the location to buy here:

How hard are these to make? Do you need a pasta machine?

(Susan) #9

I haven’t bought it myself so I am not sure, sorry, I just knew how to buy it. They look very awesome though =)).

Thanks, Susan. I’m not a huge believer in what I call “fake foods”, as I started out eating a lot of them, and I had some issues (maltitol and I don’t get along, for instance). So, my general trend is to real food all the time.

Having said that, my kids would LOVE something that was pasta-like. And, to be honest, I wouldn’t mind something like this every once in a while, say on which to serve a braised piece of meat and its cooking juices. That’s if, of course, it does not bother me, which I’ll only find out by making them.

No pasta machine needed. You make them in a pan like a crepe.

(Bob M) #12

Thank you.

(Germaine M Schweibinz) #13

Absolutely! I am making the lasagna this weekend and will post the results.

I am never going to make these. When will they be available to buy??
