Carbs in Eggs

#1

GM. I have a question. I bought some jumbo eggs the other day because they were on sale for .99. They say 0 carbs. So I fried me 2 eggs in 2 tbs butter. Then when I went on the carb manager app, it said 1 carb for 2 jumbo fried eggs. Should I just count them as 1 carb or 0 Carb. I’m confused

Eggs have approximately 0.4g of carbs each. Two eggs, 0.8, rounds up to 1.

There is an incidental amount of carbs in eggs. Typically it’s so low, you don’t really count it.

Depending on the size and how many you have, the trackers may add a carb.

Only count if you’re being strict. Under a certain amount per serving doesn’t need to be listed on the nutritional label.

Ok Thanks

Ok. Thanks

I count one gram for everything that says “0” grams that I know have incidental - bacon, cheese, heavy cream, and yes, eggs

Carb manager set me up with 26 g carbs, it’s so hard to figure out if I am lightly active or moderately active sense I’m retired and play disc golf almost every day, 5% carbs 25%protein and 70% fat, but at 5% that’s 26 grams of carbs? I thought we were supposed to be at 20g carbs or less, week 10 here and trying to figure out what I’m doing wrong that I cannot become fat adapted, I just don’t think I will ever become fat adapted

At first carb manager set me up at 16 g net carbs when I chose lightly active, I just don’t know if my carb manager is set up correctly according to my activity per day

DO not count carbs from eggs. It is NOT a significant amount.

What if you count TOTAL carbs and feel best closest to 0? Then wouldn’t it make sense to count ALL carbs, including the estimated 0.5 in eggs?

I count two eggs as 1 carb. I typically eat two eggs at a time.
